HOWDY!

That’s me, Mikey! I’m an award-winning Art Director based in Stockholm, working across branded content, interactive experiences, social campaigns, and human-centric concepts. My work is grounded in storytelling and design that is thoughtful, emotionally resonant, and built with intention.

I grew up in a small New England town with a love for travel shows and little interest in sports or farming, which made leaving feel inevitable. After earning a degree in Marketing, I moved to Brooklyn to attend Miami Ad School and develop my creative portfolio. Since then, I’ve worked across large global agencies and small in-house teams, contributing to work in New York, San Francisco, Paris, and Seattle before ultimately settling in Stockholm, where I now live and work on Södermalm.

I entered the advertising world drawn to the promise of big budgets and far-off campaign shoots. What I found instead was a production-driven landscape shaped by social media cycles, rapid turnaround, and the constant chase for the next cultural moment. Over more than a decade of living to work in the industry, that experience helped clarify what matters most to me creatively.

Today, I work to live. I focus on creating work that helps people solve real problems, sparks emotional connection through meaningful experiences, and offers space to understand perspectives beyond their own. I value collaboration, elevating brave ideas, and bringing structure and clarity to the creative process. I’m at my best when strong ideas are supported by thoughtful systems and work moves forward with purpose.
